Hope and Inheritance through Resurrection of Jesus(1 Peter 1:3-5)

HOPE AND INHERsITANCE THROUGH RESURRECTION OF JESUS (1Peter 1:3-5):

Peter writes ‘Blessed be God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ’ after Greeting the Elect who are scattered. The Word blessed could be to praise and acknowledge God for his amazing Grace, the Privileges He had given, the transformation of hearts of the people, and many things. Peter had experienced and understood the limitations that every human being could undergo and how unstable the human being is, as the situation changes. If we look at the early life of Peter before the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, we could see that Peter is very quick to do/say something and most of the things were inappropriate. He had failed in most of the actions he did or the words he had committed. Even Peter along with many other fellows went back to their previous work. In 1Peter he is very sure that God’s intervention and his Grace is all that is very much needed. He says that God’s mercy had caused the believers to be born again to the living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. The disciples thought that Jesus will be along with them and they could serve Him in his kingdom but there was crucifixion on the cross for the salvation of all by the eternal purpose of God. Once, the disciples went back to their ordinary life, probably thinking that everything got over.  But God had risen Jesus Christ from the dead and by this resurrection, the disciples were renewed in their faith to continue to serve Him and proclaim the truth to the whole world. By the resurrection of Jesus, the Disciples got a new and ever-living hope to pursue what they had committed in their past life.
By the crucifixion and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, the ransom for the sins of Mankind was paid once for all. The bridge in the relationship between Man and God due to the sins of mankind after creation was built again through it and whosoever believed it could find that bridge to relate with God. The Belief in Jesus Christ had given us the privilege to be Sons of God and thereby the inheritance. The inheritance which we have in heaven with God is Eternal which will not be destroyed, Holy which will not be defiled and Fixed which will not fade. The Believers and strangers of the World will be guarded through their Faith in the crucifixion and resurrection of the Lord Jesus and by the power of God which surpasses all the knowledge and understanding of the world. And the Salvation which is not just a point but a process that every human being undergo by continuing in the Faith, and reliance on God will be revealed at the last time which could be the time after the deliverance of Christians from the sack age of Jerusalem, end of the Jewish polity in the context of the writing of the letter, and It could also be a day of Judgment and Glorification of body and soul in heaven. The Power of God will help us to preserve our Faith though there may be tough situations and thereby help us to continue in our Salvation.
